The hard drive in my old unibody MacBook recently stopped working, and I ordered an SSD to replace it. When I went to open up my access latch on the MacBook and remove the first Phillips head screw that holds the hard drive bracket in place, I managed to strip the screw. Is there any other way to pull this screw out or swap the hard drive?

A trick that sometimes works for me is to take a rubber band and position it between the driver tip and the screw. If you position it just right, the rubber band will fill in the stripped area.
