ZIF Socket Crumpled on iPad 2 Logic Board

Hello. I was attempting to replace my GSM antennae on my iPad 2 logic board following the instructions on step 38 on Reemplazo de la antena Bluetooth/Wi-Fi del iPad 2 Wi-Fi EMC 2415. Unfortunately, the ZIF socket was crumbled when i tried to remove the headphone and front cover cable.

Two questions: (1) can this ZIF socket be replaced/repaired and if so, where can I find some information on it and (2) if I didn't repair it and just left it unconnected, would the logic board still work but without a headphone jack and front camera?
