I have a camera that I bought at Walmart some years ago it is a Sanyo VPCS880 and it just stopped connecting to my computer via the cable supplied with the camera. How can I obtain one

akelowit, try a different cable and a different computer first. the charge cable can be purchased at places like Amazon or Ebay for ~5$. Make sure that you have the right software as well as the right driver installed. If all of those does not resolve the issue, you may have to take a closer look at the connector. Make sure there are no bend/broken or corroded pins. If that checks out, consider disassembling the camera and install a new port.
