When using my video camera and looking through the lens, the image appears unclear and distorted. I think its just dirty, but I'm not sure how to properly clean it. Does anyone know a way to clean my camera lens without damaging it or scratching it?

Be extremely careful when cleaning your camera lens! They're very fragile and can crack, scratch, or break easily. If they do, they need to be replaced.
There are a few options to choose from to clean your camera lens properly. You can use a can of compressed air, or a lens cleaner solution and cleaning cloth. Do not use Windex and paper towels. Doing so has the potential to damage your lens further. Instead, try going to your local technology store and purchasing lens cleaner designed to carefully and successfully clean your camera lens.
