Bottom screen backlight flickers rapidly.

Hi! I recently took apart my DSi to try to fix the bumper buttons, (They're still not working, but I don't really care anyway) and when I put it back together, I found that the bottom screen didn't look right. At a glance, it would seem fine, but if you look at it for more than a second, you can tell that something seems to be wrong with the backlight. It seems to be turning on and off really rapidly, fast enough that it doesn't look like it's turning on and off, but slow enough to be nauseating. I reopened it up, and I can't find anything that looks damaged, and I disconnected and reconnected the bottom screen ribbon cables as well as the power cable. Anyone have any ideas?

I originally put this on the Nintendolife forums, but I wasn't sure if maybe someone here would have more technical knowledge?
