got wet and not charging after drying

My phone got wet,I dried it off, It was working fine when I first started it, Unfortunately, the phone will not charge at all. The charger works, i charged another phone with it. After the initial charge on the battery went down.....that's it......battery stays at 0%. I can boot the phone while on the charger so it is getting power, but the battery just stays at 0%.....for hours, if I unplug it from the charger it shuts down. I even tried other chargers, same problem

Hi Roy,

if you have any doubts about the battery, only charge it on a metal ground and stay with it all the time. If it doesn't charge, you have to tell if you see the "charging gauge" or not. If you see the charging gauge and it stays at "0%", send it to OnePlus to get you a new phone.

If you don't see the "charging gauge", it's probably a faulty connector.

But because of "if I unplug it from the charger it shuts down" I believe it's a faulty battery. Send it to OnePlus.

They are quite clear on that. I wouldn't mention it got wet btw. ;).
