Why isn't my iPhone turning on?

last night my iphone was acting slow so i tried to turn it off but since my lock/power button is jammed/broken, i have to plug it to a charger so it can turn on but now, when i plug it in, it only shows the apple logo for a few seconds then the screen goes black again. i tried charging it overnight but after that i checked it, and the screen was still black and won't turn on. i cant do the hard reset because my lock button is broken so any more options i could do?
