My Asus X54C won't power on?

I have been having a problem with my laptop not powering on. I have windows 7. I have taken the unplugged the charger, removed the battery and tried holding the power button for 30 seconds and

then plugged the charger back in and put the battery back and it still doesn't turn on. It has

happened several times before and eventually it will power on, but not today... Can someone give me any suggestions? Thank you
