Why won't my pictures upload to instagram?

Instagram has started crashing when I try to upload pictures from my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 It was working before, but now the screen goes black and a message pops up saying 'Unfortunately, Instagram has stopped'. Please help. Thank you.
