After replacing power & sensor cable screen is dark

I had previously replace the front and rear case. The phone was functioning except that the power button did not turn it off I replace the power and sensor cable, and now nothing works. When I charge the phone I am getting a beep-beep signal from the vibrator. What does that mean

Try pressing and holding the power button simultaneously with the home button, this does a soft reset, which may help the phone to accept the new parts. Sometimes new parts are "rejected" on a software level. It's also possible you caused some hardware damaged during your repair.

Solución Elegida

After ruining a few screens, I am now convinced that there is no alternative to removing the display assembly for this particular repair. Sometimes I replace the cables, sometimes I just replace the button, but I always remove the screen! And for that I use a good amount of heat on the top but mostly on the bottom next to the home bottom, and a good suction cup.

So I change the screen?

Hamza, first try to reseat the screen cable, power cycle your phone (disconnect battery, press power button for 15 sec., then reconnect) and restart your phone and test.

IF it restarts, don't forget to reset your date and time and reboot after that.

If the above does not help, you should try a known good screen to see if it solves the issue, then yes you will have to replace it. Good luck.

Did you take out screen when fitting button as the screen cables are not ment to be bent forward. The screen needs to come out when fitting power flex

If so then you have damaged the screen..

Bonging when in charge indicates a damaged screen also.

I did not remove the screen. I followed the guide and there is no mention of removing the screen. Perhaps the guide needs work. In addition to the screen issue the guide is not very helpful in the actual removal and installation of the power and sensor cable

I agree the guide would need to be changed as bending the cables forward like this is not good a really does damaged the screen

I am ordering a new screen. Will let you know if that fixes the problem
