Phone can switch on but does not go on to main menu

My phone can be switched on and then goes off.

It only shows the colored screen (pink, yellow, blue 'balls') with SGH-M620

at the top and www.samsungmobile.com just below

and the word 'SAMSUNG' at the bottom but it does not go on to the main menu which makes it possible to access info on the phone
