Battery will not charge after change
The battery of my daughter's MacBookPro needed to be replaced. I got tip of Ifixit from a friend and ended with buying a battery from Ifixit. This was delivered promptly, and using the guide on these pages I replaced it.
The problem now is that it won't charge. It started with a battery percentage of 95%, it is now on 60%. She has tried to reset the SMC twice, but to no use.
This is 13" MacBook Pro from mid 2010.
After the battery change, the memory card reader does not work.
Any idea to what we can do?

Can you give us the last four digits of your serial number so we can correctly ID your system.
