Replaced Screen now it turns on but screen is only dark black.

+1 to the possible defective screen. Also it is entirely possible there was other damage done to the phone when the screen got broke. I have had a overly high failure rate on the 5 line of iphones. Esp the 5c. As for cheap copies they are in most cases oem and not after market. Glass for phones can be oem or after market. Now there are 100% fake/mock up lcds out there that look real but are nothing more than glass plastic and paint with salvaged ribbons from real lcd parts.

You have a 50 50 chance between damaged board and bad part when you have problems with a lcd after replacement.

And what a really bad peice of advice buy another iPhone send your phone to me and I'd say I could 100% fix your issue if you tried fitting it yourself and don't have experience theres the first problem some people aren't cut out to do these kinds of repairs .

I think that you should probably buy a new iphone 5c because there is no hope on fixing your phone. I have the same exact problem and phone and it happened to me and it just broken and the screen kept blacking out. So there is not point on spending however much you spend on the screen on the phone because it would be a waste of your time. Sorry to say this but there is no hope on fixing an iphone 5c. I am starting to really hate the the iphone company cause every apple gadget I buy always breaks easily. The only reason why they make these gadgets easily to break is to get more money.
