Why won't my PS4 turn on (boot up)?

i had my PS4 for one month

when i press the power button, the blue light does come on, but only once and beep once. clicking noise 2 times all in one second.

the first time that it happened, it made a bang sound. i checked the back of the ps4 and it smelled a little burnt.

i cant take it back to sony. i live somewhere where thats not facilitated. so i opened it up and took off the warranty sticker.

my guess is that its the Power supply unit (PSU) that broke down, but i need to know for sure. so that if i ever took it to some repair man i only need to ask for the repair of the PSU.

I'm open to a few solutions, buy a new PSU. so i would like to know how much that costs. or fix the PSU.

where i live the voltage is 220v and i guess not all universal PSU is good with that.

if i fix (altered) the PSU to be capable only to 220v would it be ok or maintainable for the PS4? because i think that its a voltage problem

I would open the console and look for the damaged component (Whatever went "bang"). It's probably somewhere in the power supply but check the motherboard also. Once you see burnt components, you'll have a pretty good idea of what part needs replacing. If it turns out that the power supply is dead, there's some good news and some bad news. The good news is that the PSU for these systems support dual voltage (Both 220V and 120V), so you won't need to modify a power supply that you buy. The bad news is that I haven't been able to find a place to buy replacement parts for the PS4 yet, probably because of how new the console is. That leaves you with two options, replacing the individual components on the power supply that have died or just waiting until new power supplies are available.

Im thinking that the reason the PSU got damaged is because of how some PSU out there is unable to take in the dual voltage, since i see that theres other problems same as mine. So I was actually thinking to change (alter) the PSU to 220 v only, instead of the universal one. I'm not planning to go back to the US anytime soon anyway. so what if i do that? i mean change the PSU voltage intake, would it be bad for the PS4?

or should i just fix it to the way it was before?

i live in jakarta, and the chinatown near where i live have more than just a variety of replacement parts.
