Why no phone network detected

My iPhone 5 lost constantly its connection to the phone network 3 months after i opened it to fix its volume buttons. It couldn't even load the available carrier networks when set to Manual. The Wifi works just fine.

So I assumed that I messed up with something related to phone network inside:

I checked the "Field test" screen and it refused to load. Stuck on "loading"

I opened the iPhone and checked that interconnect cables and the 3G antenna (bottom one) were well connected. It didn't fix it.

I changed the interconnect cables, it didn't fix it.

I changed the AudioJack+LightningConnector+3GAntenna module and it didn't fix it.

Now I am stuck. Any ideas out there?

it sounds to me like youve either knocked the network/signal ics, or something similar, if you could provide me with some pictures, id be happy to pinpoint the problem for you

It's fairly possible, but I am quite afraid to start tinkering on the mainboard's components. I prefer an "iPod5" to a completely broken black block :-)

I'll try to get a few pictures anyway, thanks for your proposal. I don't have time at the moment, but i'll definitely do. I'll take the lower part of the mainboard at the interconnect connector, both front and back. With two lenses, that should do the trick ^^ http://www.easy-macro.com/

Have you checked the date and time settings? Often removing the battery resets it, this means it can't verify with the networks because it thinks it's in the seventies.

Hope this helps.

Good idea, (un)fortunately the wifi does work and time + date are ok.
