Got my new HTC ONE m8 a month back. I noticed some scratches on rear camera lens cover. I didn't placed it on rough surfaces or dropped it down,is there any chance to replace the lens cover under warranty,if not can it be replaced by paying some money to the HTC service center?

The lens can be cleaned with tooth paste and a small amout of rubbing alcohol. The toothpaste should be applied gently in a circular motion using a cotton ball or qtip. Once that has been applied, put a small amout of rubbing alcohol on a microfiber cloth and in the same gentle cirular motion, clean off the residue left over from the toothpaste. I did this and the results were amazing!

it will sound kinda weird... I bought an iphone screen protector a few months ago, but i noticed that the Home button hole comes with the entire plastic, the hole wasn't completely cut out, the size of Home Button from the iPhone it's exactly the same size that the lens camera from the HTC... so I use that tiny scrap of the screen protector for protect the camera lens :)

The problems are pressing on many users.
There are not replacement part sold in global market yet.
But I think the retailers will start to sell the HTC ONE M8 camera lens in the near future.

Hello, this is disgusting after investing 50K for the phone. The camera cover got serious scratches and I am not sure what to do. Same problem here
