Ripped ribbon cable after screen replacement.

I was just recently repairing my girlfriends phone after she cracked the screen and when i put it back together the LCD didn't work. I realized i had ripped a ribbon cable and i need to know how to fix it or if i need to get a new assembly.

If it was a ribbon cable belonging to the screen assembly then your out of luck as a assembly will be needed again

If it makes you feel a little better, professionals rip and bend this fragile little cable quite a bit. I agree with Con, the screen is unrepairable for the DIY with a broken flex cable.
