Logic Board or Power Supply or Hard disk Failure?

Hi all,

My iMac EMC 2210 is unable to boot at all.

Trying to find out whether it's a logic board or power supply failure.

I have just replaced my hard disk approximately 1 year ago but I am not writing it off the equation.

Pressed the power button but has no chime nor visual.

I could hear the fan sound (but couldn't be sure if it's the fan or hard disk).

Any guidance is greatly appreciated.

Update / Additional Info

I left the iMac off for a couple of hours and managed to boot it for now.

Is it overheating ?

To check if the system is over heating you'll need to install an app which can read the fan & temp sensors in your system. Give this app a try: Temperature Gauge Pro There are others but I have found this one to be one of the best. Let us know what you find after running it.

Starting to should like your power supply has issues. At this point I think you'll need to open the system up to inspect things. Are you up to that? Review the IFIXIT guides and setup your work area if you haven't already.

Yes, I am ready to open up. Any guide is appreciated.

Thanks for the guide.

I have no issues replacing the hardware as required but the main issue here is that I couldn't rectify if it is a Power Supply failure or Logic Board.

Any ideas?
