Memory Card Reader Won't Work on Dell AIO Photo 926?

Hi, I have a fairly used Dell AIO 926 Photo printer, and it has given me plenty of problems, but one in particular, the memory card reader just won't read! I really need it to work right now, but I have no idea what is keeping it from working. I've checked to make sure there is no lint or dust in side, heck I've even blown it out with a little bit of canned air, and it still won't read. The card slips on all right, but the green light won't blink and I can't get anything to show up on my computer. Is there anything I am forgetting to check? Does anybody have any ideas why this is malfunctioning?
