Exchange of keyboard (only) possible? (US->German layout)

I'd like to know if its possible to exchange the keyboard (only - not the whole topcase) of the "Late 2013" MacBook Pro 15''.

I heard some rumors that a lot of parts are glued together in this series and it might not work.

In this case: Has anyone ever exchanged the keyboard by removing ALL the single caps and replacing them?

Are Keys from older versions compatible to the "Late 2013" series?

I found a solution that works quite perfect for me: KB keyboard covers! The can be bought for several languages and keyboard styles for about 25$.
