Hi,
I own a Iphone 4.
It doesn't charge and it isn't recognized by ITunes.
I've changed the charging dock but still the same problem ...
I tested the phone with a charged battery and it works ...
Could you help me ?

fred, the "not charging" can be caused by multiple things, like the cable, dock connector bad battery, bad charging coil as well as other components. Check for corrosion, loose connection etc. on the logic board. I marked the most common issues on the diagram. Check for continuity etc.
Start by cleaning the dock connector properly, replace the battery, make sure the battery connectors are properly attached to the board. Worst case scenario, you have issues with the power management IC. check this video for a reflow and the image to see if the jumpers might help you out. Place jumpers across the fuses

The USB power fuses are OK ... How can I test the USB power IC. Is it easy to replace ? If it's the power management IC .... i can't do anything ... Many thanks ...

After inquiry, there were splashes of water on the phone ...

I did another test : I used a charged battery --> the iphone goes on
--> ITUNES recognize the Iphone --> the symbol "charging" appears when the iphone is connected ---> BUT it doesn't charge

sounds like a bad charging coil or power IC. The coil would be my first choice

no, not an easy repair. It does require good soldering skills and the right tools. If you are unsure about soldering it yourself, I'd suggest to find somebody close to you that can do SMD component soldering.
