Is grime on my power supply bad?
I have my iMac taken apart to upgrade the SSD I put in before and to add a second hard drive. I noticed the power supply is covered in a white substance. I don't recall seeing this when I took the computer apart before, and was wondering if anyone thought this was bad. Take a look at the picture on Dropbox.
I haven't had any problems that I can attribute to a power supply (just inability to boot with firewire drives connected, and the occasional graphics card overheating issues many people have with these machines) I flipped over the power supply and checked the capacitors. None appear to be swollen. I'm just reluctant to put things back together if there is something I could fix with this.
Es esta una buena pregunta?
