Fans Running Fast All The Time

Hey everyone. Im having an issue I cant seem to resolve. I have a Macbook Pro A1226 and the fans are running fast constantly. Ive tried sms reset and NVRAM reset. I also unplugged the fans and replugged them. Ive looked at the activity monitor and no processes are using the CPU at more than 3%. Every package I download and read the sensors on the cpu or fans including istat pro, istat menu, smsfan control, etc. The only one that seems to read the cpu temp is Temperature Monitor which reads the temp at 29c. Ive ran AHT extended tests and it found no problems. Ive booted into safe mode and even tried reinstalling snow leopard and still no luck. Im guessing there is something wrong with the sensors so it just keeps running the fans constantly but I feel like the AHT would pick that up. Anyone have any ideas?
