Replaced back housing and now my home button is weird/broke

Hello

This is the first time i ask a question on this site, but ive been reading alot to solve other issues. So now i give it a go.

Ive replaced the back housing on my iPhone 5. First time i try and fix an iPhone 5, and everything went well, except my homebutton.

If i lift the screen 1mm from the case, the button works fine. If i take the screen out (still connected) and place it ontop of the caseing, then it also works fine.

If i put the screen down in right site, it works.

If i put the screen down in left site, it dosen't.

It makes zero seence to me at all.

i've checkede that the 2 connecters witch have to hit the screen on assembly fits and is placed correcly.

Anyone got a anwser for this?

Update 1:

Last night i found out that, if the phone dies of power, and starts op. It says it have to be connected to iTunes. When its connected iTunes says it found a phone for restore. I restore it, and when it powers up, it says connect to iTunes, and its the same all over again.

IF i lift the screen 1 mm as mentioned above, it starts normaly.

I really REALLY don't get it!

Update 2:

Last night i bought another iPhone 5 for parts. Once i opened it i found the flaw.

Aparently it was the 2 connectiors thats hitting the screen for the homebottom to work, that was placed 1mm to high. i disassemblyed the bottom and put it right together again.

However, i don't get how that messes with the software.

But it's fixed now!

Thank you all for the many many responses ;)
