1 Why is my ipad2 freezing and randomly restarting itself!?
Hello all, i have a friend who just recently replaced the screen. Everything worked great for about a month and then it started restarting itself and freezing. I do repairs on apple mobile devices so i told him i would like to buy it from him and use it as a gift. Anyways, i can not figure out the cause without having to take the screen off and im not sure i can do so without damaging the screen. I have put it into recovery mode twice and restored it twice.
My thoughts on it is, A faulty screen. When you enter an app (even the default apps like clock) the first app you enter will work just fine, the second app you enter the you start to see colored dots in a random formation(Different every time) When this happens it freezes and restarts. But when it comes back on the apps i entered are still open. Im not sure if it is really restarting all the way cause it happens quicker than a normal restart. After a few times it starts going from the apple logo to the lock screen every two seconds.
Its very strange and have never seen this before any advice?

Up date... i Took the screen off and cleaned up the connections and it is still doing the same thing. I did however find there is a dead spot in the digitizer cause i cant move apps to another screen. its a tiny line from the top of the screen to the bottom. I really dont think this ipad is actually restarting every time. so im kinda lost here
