Problem with screen after trying to fix proximity sensor on iPhone 4

Hi there. First, this is my first time opening an iphone. I watched many videos and guides on how to take off the display and fix the proximity sensor. I used the technique with the scotch tape but it didn't work for me. I didn't actually used scotch tape but a clear tape. Maybe this is why the proximity sensor doesn't work. If anyone can also help me with that i would be greatful.

Anyway... after reassembled the iphone i noticed a big blue dot at the screen. See the picture here.

Is the screen damaged? Or did i connect something wrong?

Notice that before opening the iphone i used the same screen and it was working perfectly fine.

I also had a difficulty on reassembling the logic board. I think it's not perfectly positioned. Are there any detailed instruction on how to reassembe it correctly? Or a video?

Thanks

I usually take a sliver of black electrical tape to separate the sensors. I actually have some oem style foam pieces that perfectly fit in that upper part of the frame to prevent the issue you are having. You can find them on ebay.

That blue spot you have seems to be a pressure point. If I recall correctly, that's possibly one of the logic board screws. You may have accidentally put the wrong screw in the wrong place, possibly extending beyond the frame and pushing against the backside of the screen. If you're not familiar with organizing your screws and remembering where they're supposed to go, it can be very easy to mess up.

I actually used an iphone 4 screw template for remembering where each screw goes.

Actually I had some problems with one screw. I could not tight it. I thing that's because I haven't positioned the motherboard correctly.

Can anyone record a video on how to position the logic board correctly on iPhone 4?

Please send a link of eBay item in a private message.

Thanks
