when the phone is open you can connect the two little gold springs at the bottom with a screwdriver, to make the phone think the home button is pressed. does that still work?

if so there must be something wrong with the home button flex cable.

if not, clean the contacts of the lighting connector or replace it

keep us posted

about the reception? are you sure all cables are connected? be sure the two back thin ones are seated properly, also try cleaning them

I'm going to refer you to this : Home button + Power button doens't work after display replacement?

apparently there are 3 tiny chips on the left side of the gsm card reader that create this problem if they are damaged. You'll probably need to go to a repair shop to get them replaced.

"No service" or "Searching" is what I always see after repairing a phone up to a level where the battery was disconnected.

It's something with the physical memory I guess, but anyway, you have to connect your phone to a wifi network or itunes, wait a bit for the clock to auto adjust and than switch flight mode on & wait 10s & off. Sometimes you get a popup "server identity not checked" or smth like that. Just press proceed.

This should fix the "no service" issue.

The homebutton: use a bit of sandpaper (P500) to clean the two copper tabs on the phone. Make sure they stand upwards enough to touch to two copper dots on the homebutton ribbon.

Power button: Since it's bracket has a hinge, it's very tricky to tear the ribbon cable when installing...
