one broken digitizer connector after replace new digitizer frame

hi i just replace the digitizer glass on my ipad and i broke the one of two connectors and know my touch does not work at all..

is it the digitizer connector the problem or maybe the digitizer is faulty?

can the touch work with only one connector?
