No wifi address, but I have a bluetooth address

Hey guys, just fixed an iphone 4s my friend had. it went through the wash, so I did standard procedure of letting it dry in a bag of silica. I then took it apart, cleaned all the contacts, and replaced the battery. Everything works perfect on it and have not had a single hiccup besides the wifi and the bluetooth. I am very tech savvy and very up to date with this stuff. I have done some research and could only dig up that its either IOS 6 causing the problems, a bad solder joint, or the chip is toast. I have not tried the freezer trick, but I have looked into the settings and can see that I have a Bluetooth address, but no wifi address, as I assume its going to be a mac address and not an IP address, someone correct me if I am wrong. Now on one instance I had witnessed the bluetooth turn on and work, but still no dice with the wifi. I have tried restoring and stuff like that but still nothing. I am wondering if the chip is actually fried. If it is fried, how do I obtain a new chip? I understand that I would have to remove the old broadcom chip and have a new reballed chip ready. GPS also works if that is any bonus. Thanks again guys!
