What digitizer version should I get?

so my screen cracked and I need to order a new digitzer but apparently there are two versions. I called asus but apparently they dont release that information and basically you cant, you can only send it in and then they repair it from there. the guy said it would cost 220+ to repair and if I order the part myself I can do it for cheaper. so since you have opened up the tf700 and im pretty sure the screen version is on the inside, could you let me know how i can tell which version I should get? or if it even matters?

Ok so the only way to figure out which version one needs to buy is to physically open up the tablet yourself and check the number on the digitizer ribbon cable using the transformer pad teardown guide also found on this site. Thanks ifixit
