1 When I turn on the camera I see nothing?
My device is recording only sound. It is as if I have the cover over the lens. The picture through the view finder and on the screen is black?????

The lens iris assembly is probably sticking closed. Sometimes oil migrates onto the iris assembly from the zoom mechanism in the lens, causing the iris blades to stick together.
