New Replaced LCD doesnt work

Hi

I tried to fix my Black iPhone 4 with cracked screen . The screen does not even work , but itunes was detecting the iphone and it was charging.

I fix it , buying a new front white cover with lcd+dispaly.

When i just assembled the Iphone , the same problem was there , it turns on , the itunes detect the iphone , it charges and the thouch is working , but the display dont , so i cant see any image. Any idea ?

Ricardo, hold your phone so that you have an angled light source to the LCD. See if there are any shadows etc. It is possible that your backlight IC/coil are no longer working. Of course, that only applies if you double checked everything else, like your connector etc.

There no light coming from the display .

If you already replaced the display, and if you think it is a good display, then it would be a board issue. Check on questions like this. there are a few other issues that could be at fault, but they are even more involved.

What you mean with backlight ? I cant see any light! Totaly off , is This the back light ?

The fix if both Logic Board and LCD are OK is Reset, hold both home and power buttons until the iPhone begins to restart. If still problem then one of the two is faulty.

I almost did the reset and unsucessed , soi just tried to put on the iPhone a working board and they worked perfectly ,so the problem is the board....i need to replace the ic or the coil ?
