just replaced the broken glass on this phone and the unlock screen does not work. when I press on the 7,8, or 9 the number above 5,6, or 7 or the buttons below are activate. No matter how precisely I push these numbers they will not work and therefore I am unable to unlock/use my phone. I have tried re-booting it several times

Hi did you fix the broken screen yourself or you went to a repair shop?, if you fix it yourself then i would suggest you disassemble your phone, disconnect and reconnect your lcd and touch panel cable, it could be improper connecting of lcd able ribbon that cause this issue, if you went to a repair shop then i would suggest that you return back to the shop and ask for assistance, hope that helps cheers, and alos it could be a case of a faulty lcd and touch panel due to manufacturing defect, so try the above first before trying another lcd and touch panel, cheers!
