Battery drains after dissasembling the iPad

Hi Guys,

I got a question regarding an iPad 2.

The iPad had a broken screen really into thousand pieces. It was a pain in the $!# to remove so during the proces i damaged the wifi cable and the power flex :(

So i replaced both, now this iPad drains battery way too fast. What could cause this?
