I soldered the ribbon cable down to the logic board by the volume buttons, but I am a bit confused as to how I connect the upper part of the ribbon cable (The part that is for the lock button). Is there soldering involved, can someone please help me? Thank you!

Hey Federico,
There is no soldering involved. There are two screws on the top holding power/lock button bracket in place. What I usually do is to first put the whole cable in place. So first screw in the lock button after screw in the volume button and than at the end I solder it to the board.
