tea spill - took it apart - now doesn't work

Hi everyone

Last week I spilled tea on my laptop. So I turned it off, took it all apart, cleaned it, and let every part dry for a week (using paper towel). Now I put it all back together, and when I opened the screen (without pressing the "on" button), it turned itself on. It looked ok, but then I realised than the keyboard wasn't working at all. So I just thought I would first turn it off and on again, but now it won't even turn on anymore. What is my next step?

i dont know it sounds like a tough one for a computer mechanic in training i think the power button my not work where did u spill the tea?

The tea was spilled on the left side, so on the side of the power button. But it doesn't explain why the keyboard didn't work either...

well then i guess i need to work on figuring out what happened.... does it make any noise? could you make a video of the problem?

When I turned it on, it didn't make any noise other than normal. When I went to turn it off and back on again, it seemed normal too until I realised that the power button wasn't working. I think i may just have to bite the bullet and go into an Apple store and see if they can replace the keyboard and the power button.
