Hi guys, specifically @jv2020, @willmay, @Michael Schambach, @limatango and others. Here now in May of 2024, how are your Late 2015 iMac 27 inch 17,1 with Aura Pro X2 blade SSD upgrades doing from OWC ?

Back in solutions offered in 2020, this was the Aura Pro X2 blade to get: https://eshop.macsales.com/item/OWC/S3DAPT4MA10K/ --> ***PCIe 3.1 NVMe Solid-State Drive Upgrade Solution for select 27-inch and 21.5-inch iMac models (Late 2013 - 2019)***

However, this part above is no longer available and is replaced now with this: https://eshop.macsales.com/item/OWC/SP4P1T1MA20K/ --> ***PCIe 4.0 NVMe Solid-State Drive Upgrade Solution for select 27-inch and 21.5-inch iMac models (Late 2013 - 2019)***

I plan to upgrade my Late 2015 iMac i5 27 inch 17,1 too with ***2.0TB OWC Aura Pro X2*** and ***2.0TB OWC Mercury Extreme Pro 6G*** wonder if it will work now that the part has changed from ***PCIe 3.1 NVMe to PCIe 4.0 NVMe.***

This plan however will take place after I replace the current intel i5 processor with an i7 6700 / 6700k processor. Anyone have any suggestions on putting in either type in? I just want my iMac to be useful for another few years than having to buy another iMac. I currently have the factory installed 32GB RAM. If need be, I might even try getting 4x 16GB DDR3 RAM pushing it to the max 64GB RAM. Does anyone know if I will be able to use DDR4 RAM in place of the DDR3 RAM? DDR3 in 64GB is super expensive compared to DDR4.

Any update from users on those upgraded late 2015 27 inch iMacs and suggestions are very welcome.
