Wife's laptop is showing 100% HD activity. It is very slow. Suspect HD is failing. I had the same issue w/ my HP desk system (std sata HD). Replaced the HD & that resolved the poor performance. Her laptop is a 17-u series. How hard is it to replace the HD & battery?
