Power Button cable broke

I have a L21 but according to the images, this looks identical. I had a screw-in tripod break inside the camera, so I tried to open it up to get to it and accidentally broke the power button cable in it. I can't even turn it on anymore. (also to mention, the catch for the battery latch broke, help?)
