With an aftermarket stereo you should check, I beleave if memory serves mo correctly,  itsmthe Orenge wire. It's for the dimmer on the stereo.  9n mine it took out the Multiplex controller modual. I went past it and jumped 2mwires I now have dash lights. Pnly thing is , no more dimmer, the dash lights  are on high all the time, I don't mind mine were a little too dim for me anyway  ......Good Luck !!!!!!
