Type powercfg /batteryreport at the command prompt, then hit the Enter key. The report will be saved under C:\Windows\System32 as battery-report. Should be an HTML file that will open with your Browser. See what it tells you about your battery.

+Let us know what you find out. It could be the battery (most likely), but it could be a couple of other things as well.
