I have a 2005 pontiac grand am and the security light is on but not blinking. If I turn the key the dashlights, windows,lights, and the cd portion of the deck works. Also, The car will go out of park without the key in. The door fob wont work at all anymore. I have tried the bypasses but none of them work. The mechanic says the code is saying that the ignition is not communicating with the starter. I have changed the battery. The fuse to the ignition, ignition and the switch ( parts from Autozone) and the starter relay, the car will start for a second if I engage it using a screwdriver and pull on the gas but only for a second. I called a locksmith that was supposed to be able to reset the security but was stumped because the turning the key on and off method for 10min and 15 secs 3 times didn't work. Can anyone please help me with any direction of where to start.
