Monitor flicker, fade, persistence and rough sounding right speaker.

-I’ve been having intermittent image persistence on my monitor for a while now as well as the entire image ‘falling down’ for a second. The latter is most apparent when the apple logo/progress bar on a black screen appears during startup. Interestingly the problem has also been associated with a very harsh sound coming from the left speaker. Today the monitor problem became worse with the entire screen flickering and washing out with a blue field of vertical lines. At the same time an external monitor works fine and the sound from headphones connected via the 9 mm jack is fine. Could this be liquid damage? I’ve been wiping the keyboard with ethanol lately.
