I watched* my electrician reset the code within the fan housing (a small plastic ‘box’ with dip switches) a couple of years back the first time the remote/fan combination quit working. Well, it stopped working again.
Thought I’d save a few $$ and have a look myself; have the bezel removed (and blades) to gain access inside the housing. There are two small possible switch units, but I don’t want to go further in dismantling the fan for fear of going a step too far and creating a bigger mess.
Suggestions welcome.
*Apparently not closely enough.
