You
You
want to find the door in the middle of the machine, which has the memory. This is where it will be. Remove the 2 modules, and put 2 new 2GB modules in and max it out. You also want to use DDR2, since it is the cheapest RAM you can get in the DDR2 range.
Here is a [http://www.insidemylaptop.com/remove-replace-damaged-lcd-screen-hp-g50-g60-g70-notebook/|guide] on putting RAM in the machine. Once you replace the RAM, stop and put it back together.

You want to find the door
in the middle of this computer
There is a logo embossed in
the cover to tell you it's for memory, so you shouldn't mess up, otherwise open allmachine, which has the covers to findmemory. This is where it
Remove 2 screws(they are captive to
will be. Remove the cover, you need DDR22 modules, and put 2 new 2GB modules in and these max out at 4GB(I did it before my mom spilt soda on mine, it died months ago, spill soda and they fight to keep going!)

I will make a guide at some point, after I find a donor
out. You also want to use DDR2, since it is the cheapest RAM you can get a motherboardin the DDR2 range.
