Is there no CMOS RAM battery on this model?

Most computers have a small Lithium cell powering a CMOS RAM (also called NVRAM) which keeps certain basic information. Howerver, in the teardown and repair guides there doesn't seem to be such a battery. Does this model in fact use Flash or EEPROM technology for its NVRAM?
