Yellowish dim backlight smokers laptop!

Texto:

So I had a very like new 2011 MacBook Pro with water damage literally less than 50 cycles on the battery, the logic board was beyond repair however the graphics chip was fine so eventually I've bought another faulty machine and replaced it with the working gpu... now to the problem everything is fine however the key letters are yellow and the backlight is very dim probably cause of the yellow keys, I'm trying to budget this machine so don't really want to buy a new keyboard is there a safe way to remove them (being a technician I've always just replaced the keyboard) its only cosmetic but the machine is in excellent condition once cleaned I say once cleaned as there was thick smokers dust inside.

I might also add until I replaced it the battery in the model I bought was slightly swelling but still held around 30 mins to an hour I checked it and ..... wow it has over 3000 charge cycles how is it alive !

Thanks for your help
