Ok. Now it's really hard to do this. You can't just hold the sleep button or reset it or log into your computer and open your files. You have to go onto your computer and then download iTunes on it. iTunes will lead you through the rest. Just make sure that when your iPod first tells you that it's disabled for 45 years, you fix it. Because they will have most likely come out with an update ( mine did ) and you will have to update the iPod from inside your computer. Then after that's finished it only gets more complicated. iTunes will lead you the way, but you have to think outside the box to fix it, if that makes since. It's not worth "seeing a pro" or spending 50-100 dollars to get it checked out. All they are going to do is what you can do at your desktop. In other words, just download iTunes onto your Windows or if you have a Mac then iTunes should already be installed. Have fun messing around with it! Lol good luck. If I did it then you can do it.
