Here is a step by step solution to change or turn off the camera's flash:
* On the LCD screen, click on the tab located on the left border of the screen with your finger. This will display the setting controls
* Select the flash icon (looks like a lightning bolt)
* Select the desired flash icon mode
* To turn off the flash, select the icon that has a circle strike-through around the lightning bolt. It is the middle icon of the 5 displayed.
* Tap the back arrow button to return to the previous screen. The back arrow is located in the top right portion of the screen.
* Click on the left tab arrow again to hide the setting controls.
