I replaced lcd with new one. The old one worked, but was just missing part of the screen.  So I ordered a new one, but white screen.  So I ordered another one same problem.  So I put the old one back into the ipod and it works fine.  Any ideas.  I don't know if this will help or not, but I thought I would add my thoughts.
